About

Kevin Zupin is a social studies teacher at Winamac Community High School in Winamac, IN. He holds a Master's Degree in Education and has 25 years of teaching experience. Mr. Zupin, as the Integrating International and Civic Education (IICE) State Coordinator, led the team of Indiana educators that developed the IICE deliberation process. He has taught at the Indiana Academy as the Outstanding Social Studies Educator and taught education courses as a visiting instructor at Albion College in Michigan. Mr. Zupin has been awarded two Teacher Creativity Fellowships from the Lilly Endowment, one of which was to study conservation efforts and volunteer at agencies serving underprivileged individuals in India.
