In this series of four webinars, educators will gain a deeper understanding of immigrant and refugee students across the state of Indiana and how to best serve them in classrooms and school. During this series of webinars, participants will hear about the immigrant and refugee populations in their classrooms and ways that migration has shaped their educational experiences. Participants will learn asset-based approaches to designing lessons and activities that build critical spaces of belonging for all students.
This series is designed for educators of all grade levels
Participants will receive:
- 1.5 professional growth points for each session
- Digital resources to help educators support immigrant and refugee populations in their classrooms and schools
- Books to use in the classroom (this will come in the mail)
All sessions take place on Wednesdays from 7-8:30 pm ET
