In partnership with the Foundation of Monroe County Community Schools (FMCCS), the Center for the Study of Global Change offers grants to support classroom projects and curriculum, or teachers’ professional development. The goal is to help educators prepare students to succeed in a globally interconnected and culturally diverse world.
Local schools have used the grants for everything from the purchase of African drums and bells to sending delegations of high-school students to an annual Indiana Latino Leadership conference.
Any FMCCS teacher, principal, or administrator is eligible. Students may submit requests if they have a faculty sponsor to serve as the program advisor.
