Andrea Nikolova is the Global Learning Specialist at the Center for Global Change, where she facilitates internationalization-at-home initiatives, including Client Based International Learning (CLIP), Diplomacy Lab and Global Classroom. In this role, she connects students and faculty with international opportunities that can be accessed from campus, making global learning more accessible and impactful.
Andrea brings over a decade of experience in international education and program management. At the Kelley School of Business, she managed a robust portfolio of exchange partnerships, advised students preparing for study abroad, and developed resources and programming to support both inbound and outbound students navigating their international experiences. She also collaborated with faculty on short-term study abroad programs, managing logistics for the travel components of these courses. In addition to her work in Kelley International Programs, she taught courses on communication and professional skills, equipping students with tools for global success. From 2013 to 2017, Andrea managed Indiana University’s Turkish Flagship Program, where she secured and administered over $1.8 million in grant funding, expanded program participation, and supported students in achieving professional language proficiency.
Her expertise includes successfully growing programs, enhancing student resources, and advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion in international education. Andrea holds an M.A. in Political Science from Indiana University and a B.A. in International Studies and Political Science from the University of Dayton. She is committed to creating practical and inclusive global learning opportunities that empower students and faculty to engage meaningfully with the world.
