Center for the Study of Global Change

Gie Wilson is the global student sustainability ambassador for the Center for the Study of Global Change. A rising undergraduate senior at IU Bloomington studying environmental and sustainability studies, she also has minors in environmental health, nonprofit leadership and management, and political and civic engagement.  She has been working with the Office for the Vice President of International Affairs doing United Nations Sustainable Development Goal outreach and programming since the spring of 2022 before continuing with the CGC in 2024. She has academic and professional interests in climate action, international climate governance, and environmental justice and health. She is currently researching international and domestic climate litigation.  Following her graduation in the spring of 2025, she aspires to get her JD and pursue a career in environmental law.
